mi local 1031 - mi WAY Unveiling
Mississauga Transit has been rebranded as mi WAY. As part of the unveiling ceremonies, two new buses were displayed at the Living Arts Centre. Visitors were offered the opportunity to ride around the block on New Flyer D60LFR 1051 which is equipped for mi express service, as well as Orion VII NG HEV 1031 for mi local.

TTC 504 King and 505 Dundas Streetcars on Broadview
On a sunny September morning I headed over to Broadview north of Gerrard, by Riverdale Avenue, where the sun angle lent itself to pretty good looking shots. I spent about 15 minutes there to shoot these clips.
Last in this video is CLRV 4041, TTC's only air conditioned streetcar. Notice how different it sounds as it passes.
Transit at TTC Rosedale Station
Watch several northbound and southbound Yonge Line trains from the Crecsent Road bridge at the north end of Rosedale Station.
At 1:50, turn your speakers up for some great subway station audio while you watch the trip arm raise a few seconds later.
At the end, the route 82 Rosedale bus arrives as a route 97B Yonge bus heads southbound.
Fishbowls on the 427
During the Toronto Transportation Society's "50th Anniversary of the GMC Fishbowl" charter we traveled up Highway 427 from Evans Avenue to Eglinton Avenue. I was riding 2409 and the bus ahead of mine was 2444.
Detour on Route 61 Mavis
A serious accident closed the southbound lanes of Mavis Road at Boyer Boulevard on an evening of January 2009. With the exception of the first bus seen in this video, which used a parking lot thoroughfare to Belgrave Road, all southbound Mississauga Transit route 61 buses were detoured via Boyer, Ivandale, Silken Laumann and Britannia.
TTC T1 Short Turning at Jane Station
After the Toronto Transportation Society's 2009 Fishbowl doubleheader charter on Saturday, September 12, 2009, a group of TTS members headed eastbound to Keele Station to catch more fishbowls. There had been an exceptionally long gap between eastbound trains, and this train served to help fill it. Behind it, however, there was still a gap of seven or eight minutes, and the train was crushloaded.
